This rattan chair is inspired by the iconic model by Jean Pierre Jeanneret. This design of the 'office chair' dates back to the 50s. Mr. Jeanneret is not the least of all and collaborated with, among others, the exclusive brand 'Le Corbusier'.
For lovers of vintage, design or retro, this is an absolute must-have. The seat and backrest are woven with beautiful natural rattan. This is not synthetic rattan. The difference with synthetic is that this looks and feels more plastic.
Moreover, each chair is handmade in Bali. This makes every chair unique and eco-friendly.
The frame is made of durable material: solid wood, more specifically teak wood. We all know the wood type teak. What is less known, however, is that this type of wood is very strong, stronger than, for example, oak.
